Some January photos

Just posting some photos today from the last month. Hope you enjoy!

Niagara Falls in Winter

At Letchworth State Park

Earlier in the month, we went up to Niagara Falls to see the trees coated in ice. Beautiful…but VERY cold. I had always wanted to go up at that time of year, but I didn’t realize that the American side would have so many blocked off areas. After seeing how quick the mist freezes, it was obvious why it was that way. Still, it was beautiful.

On the way home, we stopped at Letchworth State Park to see the ice volcano (below). This is a beautiful park and we both decided we would have to come back here and explore some day (when it’s warmer!).

A lot of this month was spent at swim meets. My oldest is a senior and this past week, he had his Senior Night.  Bittersweet, as I am realizing that my baby is grown and graduation is getting closer and closer.

Below, is an abstract found while out and about. Beauty surrounds the every day in patterns and textures.

And finally, a photo that my youngest goddaughter, Grace, asked me to take at a pancake breakfast for the swim team.  Bitty Baby brought our table luck, as my parents and her grandparents won two prizes and we won one
